Happy Lohri friends! Lohri is easily my favourite festival - a winter night, Dullah Bhatti, gachak and guppa around a crackling bonfire is an enduring memory of my childhood. When I was researching The Long Walk Home - which has a scene set around a Lohri celebration - I stumbled upon the story of Dullah Bhatti, that ubiquitous fellow we belted about without knowing his antecedents.
