Happy Monday, Basset Buddy readers! My seeing eye people took me to Awwwstin yesterday (I think they call it Awwwstin because people see a dog like me and go Awwwwww!) While we were in town, my seeing eye people took me to do some cool things, and some not so cool things. First on the list, was not so cool - getting my nails ground. Normally, we clip my nails at home & I do not like that at all. In Awwwstin, they took me to a place called Woof Gang Bakery on N Lamar. Not only do they bake doggy treats there, (they were pretty yummy) but they also do grooming & nail grinding. It sounded scary at first & I wasnt really happy about having to do it, but it was really fast & the nice man who did it was a real pro & had me on, fixed up & off the table in less than 10 minutes. It helped his case a lot that he smelled like dog treats & icing, so I decided to cooperate. Now my nails are all smooth and short. No more click-clacking on the tile & wood at home. Thats OK though, I can sneak up on people now! Ha! Have a great week, everybody!
