Happy Monday! Enjoy some inspiration and be sure to take it with you, in your heart as you go through your week. Graced In Riches This morning we got out of bed, poured ourselves a cup of java, perhaps grabbed a little something something for breakfast and then began to get ready for the day. We may do a number of things to prepare for the day including, take a shower, brush our hair, wash and style it, wash our faces and put on some of that smelly stuff under the arms. Perhaps the ladies will put on a little make up and jewelry and then we adorn ourselves with clothing that we hope will bring out the best of our own personal appearance. Our smiles are like jewelry, and our eyes twinkle like diamonds. We are a complete package... on the outside. We adorn ourselves on the outside, while on the inside God sees something different. Even though he knows our weaknesses, our faults, as his child, he has clothed is in the incorruptible. That doesnt mean that were a super race, super man or wonder women. It means that death cannot touch us because even though our physical bodies fail us, we will live eternally with him in heaven. At this moment, when he looks at us, he sees us though his eyes of grace. Ive written a song about it that will be on my new CD, but this message seems to keep ringing in my heart. Through his eyes of grace, even though we know we may sin and fail him, he sees us with a clean heart. He has clothed is in his righteousness, which is his perfection. However, our charms and convincing ways do not impress him. When we display self-centered attitudes like a “primadonna”, I wonder if God even recognizes us? What does put you on the side of a big God that is powerful enough to create the universe? He loves a humble heart, and a heart that loves others like he loves you. Do you know how much he loves you? Scripture also says, that we should clothe ourselves with an “unfading beauty”. (See image below) Be clothed from the inside out. Dont depend on the outside to be all that God wants you to be. He is only looking at your heart where his riches are. They are the riches from his grace, from his heart to yours. They are the riches in you that will last, as you touch other people with your life, here on earth and as you live on in eternity.
