Happy Monday Facebook fam! My timeline has been flooded with posts of children going back to school. If you could go back to school, would you do anything different? I know I would. I would have researched more about careers and then focused more on classes that could help me get to where I wanted to be. I would have mastered a second language. I would have been more disciplined and more attentive so that today I could apply those qualities to tasks in everyday life. I would not have ducked Phys Ed LOL. I cant go back in the traditional sense, but I can use each day Im given to learn new lessons and put them into action. I can take language courses online, or meet new friends that speak a language and practice with them. I can focus on new tasks and challenges and give them the attention they need. I can go to the gym and be disciplined about fitness. I can also change my career and follow my dreams at anytime, and so can you! Richard Branson founder of the Virgin brand posted this today and I found it extremely relevant It is important to remember that life is not a dress rehearsal, and that none of us should waste our time on doing things that don’t spark fires within us. My golden rule for business and life is: We should all enjoy what we do and do what we enjoy. Are you enjoying what you are doing? Or do you wish you had a brand new school year to start over? Today, be inspired by the excitement of possibility and newness in the children around you, and go for your own goals! We are never too old or too young to learn and become all weve ever wanted to be!
