Happy Monday, HHHS supporters! Our mission today is to restock our store of treats. We rely on donations for dog training treats, and were running very low at the moment! Hot dogs or summer sausage and cheese (string, stick, or block) are usually cheaper than dog treats, and theyre perfect for training. We cut them up into tiny pieces, and the dogs just love them! Our volunteers work tirelessly to give our pups stimulation and to help them become more adoptable. A huge part of thus process is training; we reward dogs for sitting as we get them out of the kennel, not jumping up, etc., and we give them mental stimulation by teaching them basic obedience when we can (sit, down, stay, etc.). If you want to help give our dogs the best chance for adoption, you can contribute by donating treats! Well accept packaged meat and cheese, or if you want to take it a step further you can cut them up at home and deliver them to us ready-made in sandwich bags. Make it a family project! Thank you for all you do to help the pets of our community.
