Happy Monday! Now for some news (appropriate links will be in the comments): Monday: Supply order due at noon for workshops. Need to reach around $1000 (25% of 2015 budget). Please make a donation ASAP or ask your friends to make a donation for you (link in comments). Money funds the workshops and provided art education to at-risk kids. Tuesday: At the Barnes & Noble on University Ave in West Des Moines starting at 10am there will be wrapping of presents for the youth of Des Moines who may miss out on Christmas. Purchase a book to donate or stop by to show your support. Wednesday: New comic book day! Plus a Hobbit premiere... although details are relatively unknown at this time (not an Iowa Cosplay sponsored event... link in the comments) Thursday: Formal Cosplay Dinner. Legends American Grill, Des Moines. 6:30pm. Dress up in something fancy and have some fun (event link in the comments) Sunday: Cosplay Gift Giving. DeSoto. 7:00pm. Help a family who lost their home to a fire this past Thanksgiving.
