Happy Mothers Day Mum xxxx You left Dad, Sue and Me in May 1977. When you died, you came to me in my dreams and whispered that time would heal the pain and life would take on a new direction and meaning. I miss you every day, but go on with the knowledge that one day you will cuddle me again, like you did when I was a child, telling me that nothing could hurt me xxx Well, I have a lot of new members of my family now, and it looks like we are missing our mums on this precious day xxxx The photo shows my Mum, Audrey, my sister Susan, and our beautiful old dog Pixie. Happy days, sat on tree trunks in Exwick Fields near our house in Exeter, where my dear old Dad still lives xxxxxxxxxx If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mothers arms and tell her theyre from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but theres an ache within my heart that will never go away.
