Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers and those who serve that duty as well--single dads, caregivers, and others. Todays list includes getting clothes ready for Naper Settlement next weekend. Wouldnt you know it? Instead of two outfits, it looks like I need to prepare four. As is usual for this event, the weather is uncertain. However, since I am not camping this year, I only have to gather and press. There wont be any packing and loading. So I will be prepping both the sheers and the wool and the cotton/linen blend. Either way, the weekend should give me an opportunity to have good photos taken of a newer dress. I did get the one corset completed yesterday. I am waiting on the linen to do two others. It is one the way on the second leg of its trip. So have lots to do in the next week, in order to be ready for the fun of next weekend. What do you have planned?
