Happy Mothers Day to the strongest woman I know Marge Smyth! We might not have had the most conventional mother/daughter relationship & Ive been far from the easiest teenager but weve pulled through somehow ;) Despite the fact our family has a had a lifetime of tragedies youve never let it grind you down. Still cant really believe youve gone and got that house on a hill in the middle of nowhere & looking at the best views of the Lake District, it truly is surreal how much youve achieved. Thanks to you I might be expect a little more out of life but you motivate me become the best I can be. Although having a high powered business woman for a Mum hasnt always been easy, weve been able to do amazing things like go to New York and the Maldives and Im eternally grateful for our lifestyle despite the sacrifices youve had to make. I may have learnt a lot more about how to reduce obnoxious little men to the size of peanuts within 0.002 seconds & how not to get screwed over by customer service than to boil an egg but I wouldnt have it any other way. Its true that your Mum is your biggest inspiration. Also a Happy Mothers Day to my amazing auntie Jennifer Atkinson who is the most kind and selfless person on the planet. Always on hand with the best advice and has been a million times more than an auntie. Then my beautiful Nan who wont read this status but has been the best life counsellor a grand daughter could need
