Happy National Wreaths Across America Day (where we put up our soon to be celebrated Christmas wreaths & feel really good about it), National Day of the Horse (a day devoted to one of mans continued best friends), National Hot Cocoa Day (a day to make a special effort to dive into a tasty cup of sugar rushing goodness of a cup of hot cocoa), National Violin Day (one of the bedrock instruments of country music will definitely be well celebrated around here ;-)), International Shareware Day (a day to celebrate the effort made by computer programmers and what they have contributed to the rest of the world) and Gingerbread Decorating Day (devote the day to celebrating the time you spend painting the cookies, people, houses, 18-wheelers you just baked from gingerbread for hours on end only to eat the whole freakin thing in about 15 minutes)! :-) Put a wreath on it (there will be pictures later, naturally), invite the geeks (because they do work hard programming and all). decorate what you bake (because it will look pretty going in), wash it down with hot cocoa, serenade the whole tasty lot with a fiddle, take a carrot or 10 out to your favorite mount (a horse, specifically) and make it a great SATURDAY! :-)
