Happy Native American Day to my friends and family in America. Its doubtful my great grandparents would have fathomed one day their great granddaughter would live outside of Osage County, Oklahoma - across the Atlantic Ocean and call Ireland home - among some of the whitest people on the planet! Last night I preached in County Wexford. Today, I played golf at a former Irish Open Championship Golf Course in County Wicklow. My life certainly has not taken the course I set out for - I had one plan - God had a different plan. It turns out, His plan is far better than my own. Im very proud to be from the Osage and Cherokee Native American Tribes - but Im also truly grateful to God that He has given me a life far more than I expected or deserved in a land and with a people that are not my own. #gratefuldaughter #gratefulpreacher #gratefulgolfer
