Happy New Year! 2015 promises a fresh start for the Ontario PC Party under new leadership. I want to be your next PC Leader. I want you to ‘Come Back Home’ to the Ontario PC family. Join here today- As Progressive Conservatives weve had our share of ups and downs in 2014. We were successful in launching an OPP investigation into the $1.2 Billion cancelled gas plants scandal; We uncovered a major government procurement scandal at MaRS, costing taxpayers $400 M; We were vindicated on our concerns with smart meters as ‘revenue tools” for the government costing you an extra $1000 a year; but We lost our fourth consecutive election, under three different Leaders, from three different parts of the province, from three different wings of the Party. We have a lot of work to do to put the pieces back together. But, I believe, we can do it in 2015. As your next Ontario PC Leader, I believe we need to show the sum of all of our parts. I can demonstrate that young, fresh and dynamic leadership our Party and province is looking for. We need to stand for safer streets and strong families, again. We need to show we believe in balanced budgets, but that we also believe in helping those who can’t help themselves. And we need to restore pride in our Party- after all we built Ontario, and we need to get back to building. What Ontarians have been looking for, weve had all along.
