Happy New Year! As we start the new year, we are filled with gratitude for the abundant blessings in our life, and we give thanks to God for our family, our friends and the faithful prayer warriors - all of whom show us daily the breadth of Gods love. Roberts treatment yesterday went very smoothly and he is recovering well. While our initial apprehension regarding him receiving intra-tumoral injections directly into his liver was understandable - after the procedure, I was quite relieved to hear him say that the injections were not so bad, not very painful. Those words were music to my ears as I prayed continuously in the infusion room during the procedure. The doctor said the liver abscess looks to be healing well, and that we should expect to return for a second round of intra-tumoral injections in 2 weeks. We were happy to hear there were few side effects associated with this treatment - another answered prayer. We are hopeful that 2015 will be filled with good health and complete healing, and we pray that the new year brings joy, peace, hope and love to all. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, (2 Timothy 1:9 NIV)
