Happy New Year, Everyone!! New Years Eve was fun, even as I was getting sick! The New Years Eve Concert for Peace at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, NYC was just lovely. Then, I went a private party on Manhattans East Side. No voice to sing at midnight like the hostess wanted me too, but I had fun anyway. New Years Day and yesterday was spent in bed with a fever. (No, hangover; didnt drink.) But on the way to the party, I ran into three friends at the same place in the Times Square subway station! All three are or were involved in music. Two were guys I know who sing and play instruments in Washington Square Park (Michael David Gordon and another guy) are part of a band called The Meetles, who perform in subway stations and elsewhere. The other was Marjorie Westin, with whom I used to sing with in the Village Light Opera Group. Heres a link to one of the three videos I shot that night. youtu.be/LO1PrEkHAEM
