Happy New Year Foodies. Hope you all are having an amazing start to the new year. Today I am making a unique side of dishes, traditional to a certain extent, but with a twist of bacon. Sautéed Cabbage with Garlic, white onions, prosciutto & bacon with red pepper flakes & a nice hint of fresh parsley & Apple white Cider. Ham, sautéed with fresh garlic, cumin, paprika & fresh breast of duck. Black eyed Peas sautéed in Duck fat with shallots, thyme & bacon. Hot water cornbread with Jalepenos & corn with cheddar cheese & crumbled bacon bits. I am ready for 2015! Wishing each of you an amazing year! Much love from Houston, Texas!
