Happy New Year! For the parents of Early Decision students, welcome to the Cal Poly family. We all remember how we wanted to know as much as possible once our student was admitted. You will find that the wonderful parents on this page are quick to respond with answers, and even post a link showing you where to find information. At this point, if you have questions about what will happen leading up to Fall Quarter, many parents have suggested taking time to look through the Cal Poly website, or googling specific information to get a general idea from past years programs. Most of the freshman class has not yet been admitted, so further information, dates, and deadlines will be sent by the University as the year progresses. This page is monitored by parents from the Parent Advisory Council, and is not a substitute for information that your student or you will receive from specific departments at Cal Poly. For seasoned parents, please remember how overwhelming and confusing it can be as a new parent of an incoming freshman. Lets keep our comments positive, accurate, and helpful as they learn about Cal Poly and the wonderful journey their students are about to embark on.
