Philly Tree People will sponsor the first 5 people in 19125, 19134, or 19133 interested in attending the 2015 Tree Tenders Winter Basic Training in Philadelphia to be held 1/24 & 1/31 8:30 am - 1 pm at PHS Town Hall, 100 N. 20th Street 1st Floor, Philadelphia, PA. Description: During two energetic Saturday sessions, learn the basics of tree planting and care including Tree Biology, identification, stresses, planting, pruning and root care, and how to use these skills in home landscape and in helping to restore the tree canopy in your neighborhood and the region.
