Happy New Year Scooter Riders, Here are the next 3 planned scoots with a link to each restaurant. An eVite will be sent about 2 weeks prior to each scoot. If you are not on our eVite list then send us a Facebook message with your email address, name and which city you live in. These are “planned” rides, if it rains or the streets are wet at the time of the scoot, then it will be canceled for safety reasons. The San Scooter Club has changed over time, but the name remains the same. San Clemente Scooter Club is not an actual “Club,” there are no dues or officers. Just a group of scooter riders who enjoy riding and getting to know other scooter enthusiasts. The idea is to go on fun rides, eat some good food, socialize, and have a good time. Saturday, Jan 24th lunch at Lucilles in Lake Forest. lucillesbbq/menu/main-menu/appetizers Ride via Ortega Hwy, Antonio Pkwy, Live Oak Canyon, El Toro Rd and return to San Clemente via Laguna Canyon and PCH. Saturday, March 21st lunch at Union Kitchen in Encinitas. localunion101/menu/ Ride the bike trail to Camp Pendleton, go through the base, and south on PCH. On the return, will ride from Pendleton on I-5 for about 15 miles. You must have at least a 150 cc scooter to ride on the freeway. Appropriate attire as usual to go through the base: gloves, reflective vest, long sleeve shirt and long pants, shoes above the ankles and a face shield. Be sure to have your license, registration, and proof of insurance handy to show at the gate. As a note, make sure to have enough fuel before the start of the ride.
