Happy New Year errybuddy! You know I dont really like to brag (!!!) but my New Year started off kind of awesome. I got to see Book of Love and Erasure perform last night at Terminal 5, and then afterwards Im talking to some friends and I get introduced to an older British man named Paul, and in the back of my mind Im thinking, No freaking way, it cant be! but it was Paul Humpheys from OMD!!! I was literally gobsmacked (if thats possible). OMD is one of my FAVORITE bands of all time and Im such a huge fan. He was super cool and we chatted for a while. I was absolutely giddy. He even said he would try and find me a very rare promo-only remix 12 Ive been looking for for decades. I hope this a sign of good things to come for 2015.
