Happy New Year everyone! I dont often do New Years resolutions cause it seems like I never follow through with them anyway...but this year I have three.... First and foremost...Im going to try my damnest to start eating organic. I am really tired of looking at the ingredients of my food and seeing all the preservatives and crap that I cant even pronounce. Ive watched too many documentaries as of late about where your food comes from and whats in it to keep eating it. I think its gotten out of control and it seems theres no accountability. Having said that....Ive spent about $150 in four days of eating that way and not sure I can afford it! ....and my last meal of 2015...Gates BBQ. Not sure I can EVER give that up! Like I said, Ill do my damnest. Second....Vinyl. Ive been trying to only buy vinyl records lately. I dont see me purchasing many cds in 2015. Of course, if I really like a band and they dont have vinyl, Ill probably still buy your cd, but if I can help it, I wont. Ive got me a little basic setup at the house and its been too cool to dig out all my old records and hear them again. Plus, having the big record and packaging and having to go flip it over takes me back to when I was a kid again. Im saying it keeps me younger. I never really stopped calling them albums anyway... ...and third....I have to get my band into the studio! I have been lacking product for years and this year thats gotta change. So Ill be slotting some time here in the next couple of months and getting something down. My group has lots of material in the can just sitting there, but because we always try and do it in-house it seems like it never gets completed. So I guess if were paying someone...well be forced to finish! Now...if I can just afford to print it in vinyl....
