Happy New Year from Overlook Farm ! We wish everyone a Healthy,Wonderful New Year ! There are already signs that we are changing course in the season, as it is staying lighter in the evening and the Hens are beginning to lay eggs ! Today they were out free ranging eating pumpkins ,and other varieties of winter squash. The seed catalogs are coming in and we are beginning to discuss what will be planted in 2015. The CSA for 2015 is excepting registration on-line. Sign up early so that you will not be disappointed come spring. I am still using winter squash that I stored in my basement . So delicious . The New Barn will be erected early spring that will house the retail stand as well as storage and prep areas. I hope to add more flowers and herbs this year as well ! Let me know if you have any suggestions on produce grown or any other ideas on general operations. If anyone is interested in wholesale purchases in 2015 please let me know so that we can get together to discuss your produce needs for 2015. We will be looking for farm help come spring.
