Happy New Year to all of our ATTR family. Tiny Tim would like to especially thank everyone for their kind words and thoughts. It has been overwhelming all year but the recent outpouring of love for him and all our rescues is phenomenal. Our fearless and determined leader Sandy and her family have successfully modified his wheels. Tiny Tim is so happy to be mobile! We have discovered we have a long road yet for him medically. His tail is rotting, he has nerve damage and partial feeling in one leg. We have consults set up and will be updating as we go. We have started him on medication to keep him comfortable. We are hoping to acquire a proper/custom cart for him as this one does not fully fit him and does not keep his legs from dragging or allow him to go to the bathroom while in it. We have found a foster home for him while we are figuring out his medical needs. We will post pictures of the wonderful ATTR foster family that yet again came to our aide. We will be setting up a fundraiser for him as well once we know more about what his needs will be. We are so thankful he is safe and with us. alsipnursery
