Happy New Year to one and all. Just imagine 2015, it was a year we saw a long time ago in Syfi Movies. The year of major high tech , and man are we close. 2014 a great deterioration in humanity stuck our nation and it has festered in to a major issue. Stones and sticks have been raised against our Police with out empathy, Men & women who work a job with tremendous amounts of daily stress, and yes ,they are not all perfect, Nor are the people who are throwing stones and sticks. Kindness and love matter. Its the tool I hope to see come about in the year 2015 Let me tell you a little story, A true story. I come from a police family, I grew up with them father, brother, and uncles. At home after a days work they are not as normal as you or I. They are stressed and have eyes on all sides of their heads because of the dark world they have taken on, The service they vowed to protect its people. A world we do not see. Its a job that you can no turn off because the clock strikes 5PM. When I was a child of 9 years old. I hid behind a dividing wall at our front door entry. My father was a detective at that time. He had just arrived at home when he came through our front door I jumped out at him to scare him like a kid would do. I was met with a snub nose 38 at my forehead as I could hear the hammer click. I never saw my father shake like he did and the tears that fell from his face as he collapsed to the floor. when it was I at the end of the barrel. At nine years old, I learned how much my fathers job was upon him. He did not have to say a word to me as I stood up and grabbed him, I told him how much I loved him and I would never ever do that again. We both cried together for a long time that night. Mom was out side in the pool. I did scare him in the worst way possible and I felt it. My mother never new this took place. Early that same morning my father and another officer were in a shoot out. So when we are confronted by an officer, kindness does matter, They need love and kindness a lot more than we do. Kindness and Love Matter in this world. We are in a world that is deprived from Love, and Kindness. Lets make 2015 a Total year of loving one another. Helping those in need, and recognizing those that need it and give a helping hand. Let us all destroy hate and anger. We do not need to boast about what we do to be kind, your rewards are great, if you do them with the love from above in your life.
