Happy New Year to you all! Lesson Programme: Despite our best - TopicsExpress

Happy New Year to you all! Lesson Programme: Despite our best efforts, the weather did not permit us to catch up on or even do many of our regularly scheduled lessons over the last two weeks. I tried to make the best of this opportunity to spend more time with family during the holiday season. We will be back to our regular schedule as of today, Thursday 1st January, as much as life and weather will permit. Volunteers: Volunteers are welcome any time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m, on the following days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. Volunteers, you must contact us ahead of time to arrange to come out, unless you are an already established regular HCEC volunteer. * Due to liability insurance stipulations, volunteer opportunities are available only to regular HCEC students. Show Team Practice: If you wish to participate in our Show Team sessions please make your payment by or on the 1st of the month, to ensure that your space and horse are reserved for you. We have received a request for an additional Show Team session during January, due to a scheduling conflict. Therefore we have added Saturday 17th January as an alternative date. Regular show team participants, please contact me with your chosen date and you will be assigned a specific time for your ridden and written test/s. February and March dates remain unchanged. Young Riders Club: If you wish to participate in YRC please make your payment by or on the 1st of the month, to ensure that your space and horse are reserved for you. Our New Years Eve YRC was cancelled due to weather, so any payments made have been credited towards the January YRC, unless you advise otherwise. *If you have forgotten about your January activity payment/s due to the chaos of the holiday season, I am thankful that you are merely human, too, so just drop me a note and make your payment as soon as possible :-) 2015 Calendar: Our online calendar is now available to view. Young Riders Club dates are scheduled for the coming months. As a reminder, there will be no Young Riders Club during June, July or September. Show team dates are now scheduled through September 2015. Tentative dates for our schooling shows, Dressage and Hunter/Jumper, are now scheduled (pending judge availability). Please visit the webpage hcec.20m/rich_text.html to view the calendar. Summer Camps: To help with everyones hectic schedules, we typically post our Summer Camp dates sometime during February, and we open registration at the same time. Our Summer Camps have always been popular and this ensures that everyone has a fair chance to participate. This year, we intend to do the same. Are there any requests from our regular or prospective Camp participants? Is there any interest in a Gymkhana camp? We usually offer Jumping, Cross Country, Dressage, and this year we are considering an Eventing Camp, with all three disciplines. Let us know if you have any ideas and we can accommodate your requests. The Summer Camp webpage is currently being updated and will be published soon. Training: For those of you interested, our training rates are now posted on the website. Training fees must be paid in advance, at the start of the month. We have very limited space on the schedule for training, so if you already have a horse in training with us, we would appreciate if you would let us know by the 15th of the month whether you want your horse to continue in training for the following month. If we are unable to train due to inclement weather, we will always credit the training sessions to the following month, and/or try to catch up when weather permits. We are an outdoor facility and there are times when it is not prudent for horse or rider to be working outside. Boarders: Thank you for boarding with us. If your horse is on heated water, the $35 fee is due on the 1st of the month, with your board payment, throughout the active months. If you choose to not have heated water for your horse, we break and remove ice three times daily. All horses have 20 gallon water tub filled at least once daily, but during extremely cold weather the water will start to freeze immediately, so do not be surprised if you visit and there is ice on the water. Dont forget, we do have a mailing address! You can mail your payments and I can acknowledge receipt with an email or text message. Our mailing address is 6760 Falcon Grassy Heights, Peyton, CO 80831. Thank you all for your continued support of our lesson programme and boarding and training facility. We wish you all the very best for the New Year. Heels down!
