Happy Palm Sunday!! Thank you to everyone who bought baked goods from the confirmation students. Again, we have 11 students who want to go to camp and are still in need of more financial resources. If you would like to donate to kids to camp, please designate that on your offering envelope. WE HAVE A LOT GOING ON IN APRIL SO PLEASE READ IN DETAIL. This Thursday, April 17th, is Maundy or Holy Thursday. The confirmation students and their families will be hosting a Seder Feast (Last Supper) in the fellowship hall, starting at 6PM sharp. We will be eating foods described in the Old Testament (bread, fruit, cheese) and reciting some words that were spoken at this meal. Please join us as this is our first year doing this. Our service will be at 7PM and will be led by Pastor Dix. Please join us at OSLC for an Ecumenical Service on April 18th at 7PM. Regardless of what denomination you belong to, you are welcome. Sunday the 20th of April is Easter. We will have Easter worship at 7AM and 8:30AM. An Easter breakfast will be served in between the two services and after the second service. Please bring your friends and family as we celebrate the rising of Jesus Christ from the dead. Sunday April 27th will be busy at OSLC! During our service we will observe World Malaria Day and especially the children at OSLC as their weekly offerings have been going to buy mosquito nets to prevent the spread of malaria. At this service we will also have a special guest. The pastoral candidate will be interviewing on Saturday and then has asked to attend service on Sunday to have a chance to meet the congregation. Service is at our regular time of 8:30, BUT there will be a light breakfast and refreshments at 8:00AM to give members of the church a chance to meet the pastoral candidate. **There will NOT be Sunday School after church on Easter** HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
