Happy Rainy Day Tuesday...Today I walked out of work and didnt realize it had been / was raining. I hadnt been looking out that beauttiful window of mine! Either back to the door or back to the window so you can figure out what I chose today. I actually decided to eat lunch downstairs with a couple of my colleagues (note picture with my Mstt diet coke) rather than carry it back up to the penthouse to eat while I read as I usually do. I think I will do that more often - a nice breather and break in the day. Anyway when I left this evening I walked through the drizzle to get the short distance across the street into the garage - and it still was kind of nice. I stopped along the way at the Montville Home Depot to pick up floor samples and made it home in the misty fog. Sam and I got a good walk in - me with my flashlight and he with his sniffer. Just wish he could do his business without first having to build up momentum and smell every blasted mailbox along the way. Amazing how well he can salute with his right leg (must mean he is a righty). When we got home we enjoyed dinner and then relaxed while I went through the mail and quickly read the newspaper. As usual he let me know it was time for bed (barking at a bit past 10 pm.) I was adjusting the shade and - voila! I noticed that work had begun on our new enclosed porch / sunroom. And I didnt even notice when Sam and I were out taking our walk! The top deck was no longer a deck; the fencing around it gone and the framing for several of the windows and the front door raised. Oh foggy, drizzly Tuesday. I am so excited!
