Happy Saturday!! I am feeling so much better and almost feel like me again!! Each day is an improvement...today I was able to swallow my vitamin for the first time since the surgery...my throat has been so sore and swollen that I couldnt swallow it. And I am gaining my strength back...took the neck brace off a few days ago and have been sleeping in it only. I will put it back on during the day if my neck starts feeling tired...funny how you have to learn how to use your neck muscles again, (some of the things we take for granted.) I still cant drive for another week and that is probably one of the hardest things for me right now (other than not being able to work in my garden(s).) But I will follow the doctors orders because I sure dont want to have to go through this again. Thanks again so much for all your prayers, positive thoughts and get well wishes. They are very much appreciated. I still have a long way to go but everything should be easy from this point forward. Love you all!! :)
