Happy Saturday Thunder Family!!! Just thought I would post a few pics of what the last 24 hours as been like up here on the mountain. On the Collins ridge range in the middle of a great wind storm!! Check out the video below of what it sounded right before the sun came up and what its doing now;) OutRTeam is stretching their rounds, rifles, gear and glass out to 1400 yards up on the Collins Ridge Range! As for shooting in the wind today....watch the little video Frank will post next...then and you will understand why we are looking at possibles 5-7 mils left and right of the targets for holds. The 1000 yard target is only 12 x14 inch in size and if you are shooting a 308 in 168 grain..(THUD rounds) ...and you press the trigger and your break is clean but you loose the target in the scope....we simply just wait for it and count..so at 1000 here at 6000 ft of elevation and bullet weight...Its one one thousand two onand then DING;) So...enjoy these and wish you were all here!!!
