Happy Saturday! Today, Keiskamma Music Academy held its regular Saturday workshop for students at St. Charles Sojola High School and Hamburg Primary School. In the morning, we gave a performance of traditional Xhosa songs Imbizo and Buhle Bendoda paired with The Kings Hunt from the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book and a movement from Arcangelo Corellis Christmas Concerto. In the afternoon, we were hard at work on music for future performances, including an arrangement of Georg Philipp Telemanns concerto in D Major (youtube/watch?v=p0cTF70c8JE) for four alto recorders.
