Happy Solstice and New Moon! Shortest day of light and longest - TopicsExpress

Happy Solstice and New Moon! Shortest day of light and longest night - connecting our, with the Earth’s, deep, dark creative forces. Here are some reflections for this New Moon and Winter Solstice..nature beings that flank the river I used to skate on as a child in New Hampshire. Ive been journeying deeply into these waters today, deeply into the trees on this solstice and new moon day. Ive made offerings and expressed my gratitude to the Earth and asked for her guidance and support. And, I have simply sat and attuned to her and the trees and all her creatures that appeared - woodpeckers, squirrels, etc., while the day grew cold and dark. My nose is still red and chilled. I feel fresh and alive. My solstice celebrations are quiet and reflective, others all over the world are celebrating in community with fire and other rituals. However you celebrate, this is a beautiful day to give your embrace to new dreams - for you and for all of our human sisters and brothers, and for all nature beings we share this life with. We can nurture and incubate these dreams in the Earths dark and fertile inward time, also making outward shifts in our lives that support these dreams. This will yield a beautiful fruition when the Spring Equinox arrives. Happy Winter Solstice and New Moon! From my heart to yours, Cedar
