We arrived in Tortola this morning at 8am (GMT-4) We departed St. Maarten yesterday at 5pm. If you want to experience the undiscovered Caribbean, visit the unspoiled British Virgin Island of Tortola. Rising to 1,709 feet at its highest point and famed for its rugged volcanic landscape. Tortola is up the North-East corner of the Caribbean, some 50 miles east of Puerto Rico and a mere mile from the nearest US Virgin Island, lie the British Virgin Island, a shapeless group of about 50 Island, only four of which are of any size. Tortola, the largest, has 17,809 residents. We will be traveling around the Island to photograph various areas of interest.
