Happy Summer ... Invented a new (?) summer drink: a Mango Wine Chiller. Its actually pretty good. To make you chill a large (red or water goblet) wine glass in freezer (rinse lightly with water before chilling). Then when glass is lightly frosted fill it 1/3 way full with a pre-chilled White or Blush Zinfandel or comparable wine. Add 3 tbsp. mango syrup and then fill glass 2/3 full with club soda (chilled if possible, can add a piece or two ice if serving in a hot venue) leaving just a enough room at top to add 2-3 1-2inch pieces of cubed frozen mango fruit into the glass proper. Stir thoroughly, garnish with a lemon wedge and a thin slice of mango and youre ready to serve and drink. Cheers! (I will try to upload a photo later)
