Happy Sunday Stage Hawk family and friends! Yesterday, I spent a wonderful day in the BHS scene shop with some amazing kiddos and Stage Hawk parents and booster officers Mike and Mike Heather Bokros. I Thank you for all who were a part of the build day... Mike and Heather thanks for always being willing to help and being so great with the kids. New techies....Ive never seen such a conscientious, focused set of beginners. I love your energy and the way you tackle problems and laugh a lot...You dont look like beginners. Older techies, What a privilege to work alongside you. Reuben and Dylan, it was a joy to watch you problem-solve, design and teach the younger guys the ropes today. What great role models. To all of the leaders of after school tech...Your sense of humor, patience and kindness as you mentor and embrace the new kids on a daily basis is inspiring. I feel blessed to be the new guy on your team. To the after school tech crew...WOW! I love how quickly you become experts on any new task, your enthusiastic work ethic and the pride you take in maintaining your work space. I look forward to working with you every day. To Livia, Elley and Amber......who began their research and shopping for Once Upon A Mattress yesterday...Thanks for your sense of urgency and enthusiasm, plus, the paint room looks great! Last but not least....Thanks to Kimmie Panfil, director and co-worker extraordinaire, Leah our formidable and take charge stage manager and the cast and understudies of Elephants Graveyard who were busy costuming and acting yesterday. I have enjoyed watching you grow in confidence and depth in every rehearsal...Thanks Kimmie for pushing them to be all that they can be...The show is gonna be great!
