Happy Sunday and Mothers Day Everyone! Just talked to my Mom. Very thankful she is here this Mothers Day after finding out about her breast cancer in February. Things could have not gone better for her and she just finished her radiation this week. I am also thankful that we are closer now than we have been in the last 7 years. We went for 2 years of not speaking after I came out and moved on to California. I look back on it and wished things would have been different but it does make me more thankful I still have her in my life now and I believe she feels the same the way. So this Mothers Day, take it from me, even if they arent accepting of your life and who you are as a person, you can still tell them YOU LOVE THEM no matter what, and thats how it should be and you have done your best. Time does heal all hurt.
