Happy Sunday, dear students! Those of you interested in submitting a piece for the concerto competition, please let me know what you would like to perform by the end of the week so I can see if we have the instrumentation for it. (Plus, if it is within our ability level...) Hopefully we can try reading some soon! Once I get an idea of how many are interested and doable, then I can see about arranging an audition day and get some colleagues to come to school and help me judge. These next few weeks will be mostly focused on the holiday tunes (even though I know its not November yet) since we have lots of memorization to do! Ill try to offset it by revisiting our more difficult rep every so often. A reminder that we will be performing in the halls/at the PTSA luncheon/in the office, but I have no idea exactly when those will occur. I will let you know the dates when I have them.
