Happy Sunday to Cast and Parents! We hope you enjoyed this - TopicsExpress

Happy Sunday to Cast and Parents! We hope you enjoyed this GORGEOUS weekend. It’s crazy that August is almost half over and that school opening is nearly upon us. I spent Saturday supply shopping online for Ainsley, and it was downright depressing! LOL! We sent you the schedule for this week in a previous email (it’s also posted on Facebook). Please be sure to check and make sure that you are at rehearsal when you are needed and that you have your lyrics memorized. If you are NOT going to be at rehearsal this week, please shoot me an email reminder. We know that we put a deadline on the T-Shirts for the week after next, but we’d like to have them in for the kids to wear for the picnic on the 8th. Please make sure that you let Laura Nitti know if you are NOT attending that event. That being said, we are moving the due date for t-shirt orders up to TUESDAY. If you would like a t-shirt for yourself, family member or cast member, please make sure you have your payment in to Gretchen Chapman at Tuesday’s rehearsal. If you are not scheduled to come to rehearsal this week, please contact Gretchen to at least get your order in place and then pay the next rehearsal that we see you. Also, the boosters, advertisements, biographies – all need to be submitted ASAP. All the text goes to Christine Springer VIA EMAIL ONLY ([email protected]). All payments go to Gretchen Chapman. We need to get the program compiled and to the printer within the next week. Don’t let your child be left out. Make sure those bios are submitted. Tickets are nearly HALF GONE and we have not even hung up a poster yet! If you have NOT purchased tickets or if you know someone who wants them, PLEASE do so, soon. We are NOT planning on selling tickets at the door. All tickets should be purchased in advance. We are also looking into the cast party. We are looking at venues and/or different catering options. If anyone has a contact for either, it would help us out a lot as we are limited on funds and time to scout out places. We’d like a place where the kids can really relax. Last year, we had the school cafeteria and then the kids went out to the soccer field and ran their fool heads off. It was a GREAT time. If anyone has any contacts/suggestions, please let one of the production team members know. The kids are doing SUCH a super job. We are really starting to push them now, as we are under the gun to get things fine tuned and ready for run-throughs. We realize that with the end of summer coming, it’s a stressful time. Kids are starting to get anxious, bed times are starting to be enforced. We are moms of cast members too, so we get it. The more your kids are prepared at rehearsals, the more we can get accomplished and the sooner that they can get home. They sound SO incredible. Laura tries to have a little “performance” for the parents at the end of each rehearsal to show you all what they have worked on that evening. It blows me away, personally, to see how much they have improved. If you have not seen the pictures on our Facebook page, our first Act 1 run through was stressful and bumpy, yet SO much FUN! Almost every picture shows smiling kids. THAT is what it’s about. We can’t wait to see you all next week. QUIET. RESPECT. ENCOURAGEMENT! -Heidi
