Happy Thanksgiving! Beyond the tradition of gathering with friends and family, and over-indulging in feasts, this a day of offering Gratitude for what we have, and Honoring all those who lost their lives, families, homes, land, culture and way of life. It is so important to have this awareness today, and remember the pain and loss that is imprinted in the birthing of this tradition. We can hold a moment of silence and prayer for all those affected and displaced in the history of this country, and all of those who are currently living in more challenging conditions the we have ever experienced. We give Thanks and Gratitude for every breath we inhale. Today we have Moon in Libra and our hearts are open and we desire company and connection. It is also a perfect day to embody the strong Jupiter presence we have in the sky with the Sun in Sag and Jupiter in aspect with Venus and Mercury. Jupiter is the Planet of Gratitude, Hope. Optimism, Faith, Morality, Growth, Appreciation of different Cultures, and Expanded Perspective. We have direct access to these qualities today, and of course in every moment. Let us work to transform the indulgent tendency of this holiday and the start of the shopping season, to one of Gratitude, Humility, and Awareness. Awareness of where our food is coming from, and where our products are coming from. We can shift the collective tide by making choices to support local, socially and environmentally conscious companies. May take a little extra time and research, but the rewards are so much more! And lets not forget that it is the season of giving so maybe take some time to donate to a charity or cause. Eat Well and Enjoy the Company of Your Loved Ones!
