Happy Thanksgiving Day! Praying that in the midst of your boisterous, joyful, crazy time with family and friends or in the midst of your loneliness and hurt and mourning, your heart is reminded of the GREATEST GIFT -- Gods abundant, lavish, pursuing love of YOU. The Bible says that while we were still enemies of God, He sent His Son to pay the price for all of the times we rebel against Him, choose our own way instead of His way, live our lives as though we know best, knowingly hurt and dishonor our fellow travelers along the road of life. While the wages of sin is death, the free GIFT of God is eternal life. His arms are open wide. And He longs to hold you tight. Even the most blessed of lives has sorrow, heartache, and suffering interspersed. But HOPE is here, and HOPE has a Name -- Jesus. Regardless of your circumstances today, may you know His nearness, His comfort, and His love. Thank you for counting blessings with me all month! May the counting continue as we head into the weeks, months, and years ahead!
