Happy Thanksgiving! Today marks Joes and my seventh year together! Dang, that guy really did sweep me off my feet ;) So were moving to Portland after all! Really wanted to do Brooklyn, but I wasnt able to find my Dream Job in NYC. In fact, I wasnt able to find it at all D: But thats ok. Ive decided to make my own job and start my own company in the new year! Im coding up our first interactive graphic novel right now, in fact. I havent got a name for the company yet, but hopefully soon. Itll be half interaction development and design for clients and half transmedia publishing. Moving to Portland will get me cheek to cheek with the lawyers, editors, and creative types Ill need to grow a strong company. Ill be heading up at the end of February to secure an apartment while Joe remains behind to finish selling the house (which were putting on the market immediately after Christmas in Philly). Will we live forever in Portland? Will my company be a success? Will I ever get a hobby that doesnt somehow relate to work? Well find out!
