Happy Thanksgiving.!!! We met with 7 other foreigners and their families today at the Mall of Asia in Pasay, Manila. All of us had made it out of Tacloban safely after the typhoon. Skip found only one restaurant in the mall that was serving a Thanksgiving meal. They only had 6 turkey and 4 ham platters (each good for 2 people) left, so we ordered them all. We wound up having 3 meals left over for takeout, and I was one of the lucky ones who got one. Not a bad meal, but sure not like the delicious ones my family made in the U.S. But the idea was that we were a family now, and we were thankful to be safe and be able to get together. Thank you Lord.!!! :-)
