Happy Thanksgiving (or for my international friends, Merry Thursday)!!! Here is a short list of things I am thankful for: - I am most thankful for Jesus and His profound love for me. - I am thankful for a wife who love her husband and who he is becoming. - I am thankful for children that can take it as well as they can dish it out. - I am thankful for parents and parents-in-law (is that a thing?) that love our little tribe and make every effort to spend time with us. - I am thankful for a church family that took us right in and loves us intensely. - I am thankful for the health of my family (as a Pastor, you realize very quickly that good health is truly a blessing). - I am thankful for the little things, like snow, fireplaces, and central air. Yes, there is great blessing in the smaller, more pedestrian, things in life. - Lastly... I am thankful for you. Yes, you. I read so many encouraging posts and they are timely. There are also not-so-uplifting posts, that drive me to pray for the need. Be blessed yall... enjoy the day... and above all, be a blessing. Cheers.
