Happy Thanksgiving to all of our readers and subscribers to this young and growing page! Lets hope also for an awesome Eagles day as Dave Spadaro would say. Today were bringing you the Thanksgiving slate of picks and you can expect the rest of the weekly selections to come on Friday. I did see a 1 game lead evaporate over the course of the week. Smh Mike Smith. That was as awful of clock management as I have ever seen. Last Week: Amanda 10-2 (27-12 overall) Kyle 9-3 (27-12 overall) 0 GB Now lets get to it: Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions Amanda: The Bears have won 2 games in a row, and Lions got manhandled by Tom Brady and company. I pick the Lions to win at home and they are now trailing the Packers. They need a win if they want a chance at being division champions. Lions Kyle: The Bears will be desperate in this one. REALLY desperate. And the Lions tend to do this swoon in the second half of the season pretty much every year. When you consider the familiarity of these two division rivals, it makes this game even tougher to pick in my opinion. Im going with the upset here. Bears dont let me down Bears Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys Amanda: ts the NFC East match up that everyone has been waiting to see. Both of these teams sore in the defensive side, both allow pretty much the same amount of points and the same about of yardage. These teams also both have great running backs but Murray has produced more than McCoy. When you look at the quarterbacks Romo has the advantage because he throws the deep ball n Sanchez doesnt. But still I think if Sanchez manages the game well, limits turnovers, and converts in the red zone the Eagles can win. A win is possible also if McCoy gets the running game going and if the defense applies successful pressure. Eagles Kyle: If youre popcorn isnt ready by kickoff......shame on you. No no no. Dishonor on you. Dishonor on your cow. Were just hours away from kickoff of the most anticipated game for Eagles fans and I absolutely cannot wait. Analysts are mostly going with the Cowboys in this one. And who can blame them really? The Eagles are marching out their backup quarterback and will be on the road. The ironic part about that is Dallas has been a great road team all year and mediocre home team. Colt McCoy says hi, Dallas fans. We have the advantage from the coaching aspect. You can tell me a lot of things but its a dark day in hell when Id prefer Jason Garrett and his coaching staff over Chip Kellys. Our defense has had their ups and downs this season but I fully expect them to play big time tomorrow evening in that funky dome. Shady has to do his thing and Sanchez will have to limit mistakes. Im going to bet on that happening. First place in the NFC East here we come. Eagles Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers Amanda: These teams both have the same record and now with a loss by Arizona, both are hungry and ready to fight for the division. Im going with the home team because this game could go either way. Both quarterbacks can run, both defenses produce turnovers, and both teams again want a chance to win their division. Niners Kyle: Just havent been all that impressed with the 49ers all season. Im still irked by the fact that we lost to them early in the season. A game we simply did not want to win but were in position to take in the final moments anyway (ugh...move on Kyle!). That said the Seattle Seahawks have been looking a lot like that 2013 bully of late and I am extremely confident will go into San Francisco and take care of the 49ers in whats sure to be a street fight. Emotions will run high on Thanksgiving with all of these division showdowns with playoff implications Seahawks
