Happy Thursday! Despite the doom and gloom predictions about Torontos real estate market, people are still buying homes - why? Because of simple economics: Demand > Supply. Remember, Torontos market is very unique: 1. We have about 100,000 newcomers to the area every year and they need somewhere to live; 2. there is no more land available to build new homes so that is why we are now building up instead of out; 3. The number of listings remains low which explains all the bidding wars; 4. Compared to other major cities (ie.
