Happy Thursday! Heres an update on whats ahead in the short and long range forecast. Vacation plans? or planning a day off? Heres my latest thinking: Today thru Saturday: Expect lots of sunshine (mixing with clouds, especially today and tomorrow as a front slowly pushes off of the coast). Dry air rules through Saturday, dew points today in the 50s (eventually) and 60ish next couple of days. That is comfy for this time of year. Sunday: the humidity begins to build. I also see more clouds mixing in and the chance of a thunderstorm during the afternoon. Monday/Tuesday: Lots of humidity, clouds and rounds of showers and storms. A strong cold front will cut through the heat late on Tuesday. That front will deliver some really refreshing air by this time next week. in fact, some 40s are possible interior New England, possibly some highs in the 60s? For us, looks like 70s day, 50s night with the chance of some low 50s, well have to see how the model trends go, its still a ways out there. The record lows for next week btw are around 49/50 degrees. If you have respiratory issues, the toughest days of the next 7 are going to be Sunday, but more so specifically Monday and Tuesday. Darren
