Happy Tuesday, everyone! Wow, December already! Attention 6-8 year olds, our holiday-themed Theatre Class just for you starts up this afternoon! Weve also got a chance to create some holiday greeting cards for your friends and family this season. You can also create to your hearts content in this mornings Open Art Studio, and learn all about nocturnal creatures in our planetarium this afternoon. Heres all the info: Open Art Studio | 10:30-11:30am The art studio is open! The studio offers an art-making opportunity that explores art concepts, materials and techniques. An arts educator will help kids and grown-ups create using a variety of materials like paint, recycled sculpture materials, drawing tools, collage or clay. Free with admission. Holiday Card Making | 11:30am Lets use festive art materials to make one-of-a-kind greeting cards for friends and family. Free with admission. Creatures of the Night | 3pm Join us in our planetarium as we explore how different types of nocturnal animals navigate the world at night. Free with Admission The Gingerbread Friends: Theatre Class for 6-8 year-olds (R$) | 3:30-5pm Attention 6-8 year olds! We know youre excited to act on our stage, and we have a special class for you. This is a chance for you to learn all about acting from how to develop a character to what a monologue is. Get some experience before you audition for your first theatre show. Sign up for The Gingerbread Friends! Join a little gingerbread cookie whos on an adventure - and has lots of exciting encounters along the way. We also might snack on some real gingerbread, just to help us get in character! Payment required at time of registration. Class meets Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00 (12/2-12/23 with a final performance for family and friends on Tuesday 12/23 at 4:30pm). This is a drop- off program; space is limited.
