Happy Womens month. Why do we believe women can be representatives of Vision Africa and be at the forefront of the transform process of the continent? Women transmit the African values and education to the children of Africa and are pro-active agents in local communities. Women in Africa represent 52% of the total population, contribute approximately 75% of the agricultural work, and produce 60%-80% of the food, yet they earn only only 10% of Africas income and own just 1% of the continents assets - UNDP
