Happy birthday to my father, Bill Snow, whos is in heaven now. He was born on 1927 and grew up in Arkansas, eventually came to California and met my mother, Wilda Snow, married, raised a family in California then we all (3 kids) moved to Alaska in 1969. Dad didnt walk with God till the latter end of his life. It was an honor to water baptize him in his bathtub a few years back while he was still living in Alaska. In 2002, I and a good friend, Scott Hames, helped move my parents to be with my family in Atlanta, Ga. There they lived and flourished till dad graduated into the Lords presence in 2008. We had a wonderful memorial service for him at the church I was pastoring. Hes missed but we shall see him again in heaven. Never give up praying for your loved ones. Its only a matter of faith, prayer, and accepting them with unconditional love that will bring them to their personal decision to either accept or reject Christ as their savior. My father received the Lord as his living savior and it was a privilege to be his pastor the the latter years of his life. At one time he thought I was a fool for following Jesus. Later, many years later, he said, Rick, you made a wise and good decision that affected our entire family for good. You are a good son and Im proud of you. That blessing made my day (and life) and healed a father wound in me. Never quit, give up, or cave in concerning your family. God is always working!
