Happy days are here again...or so to speak. I have included a few pics that reflect what is going on at the OK Corral in Gales Ferry. I have ventured out to meet a few potential companions for Sammy but to no avail. I would take them all if I could but I really need that special furrbaby who will bond with Sammy. He is a really friendly guy with all the people we meet. He got all dolled up this week (See what a big tongue I have Mommy!) Although work goes on in the sunroom we have had a few delays due to the town inspectors vacation. Unfortunately the delay gives me more time to think - I watch entirely too much HTGV TV - I almost decided to knock a wall down between the family room and sunroom but came to my senses! Just added skylights instead. Now I am trying to select paint colors by taping them on the walls and doors! What a pain in the neck! Speaking of pains in the neck - seems I have developed one from peering at my monitors through the base of my glasses and having to bend my neck all the way back. How to fix? Either taller chair or shorter desk as a reasonable accommodation. You cant imagine the difficulty I had finding a chair in the excess state supply. ONE in a whole building that was just a couple inches higher BUT also could fit an elephant! No choice but to take it - and I still have to use a pad. I am lucky to hear from Matt and Emmy often. Last weekend they enjoyed a lobster fest in Boston and sent me pics. Then on Monday Emmy went to an office event in Newport - more pics. It drove me crazy - I ended up calling 99 on my way home from work and ordered drive by pic up of hot lobster roll. Absolutely the best! Learning the benefits of restaurants without going in alone - take out!
