Happy fifteenth anniversary to my wonderful wife Addie! It has been a weird one. Fudge, our yorkie got out of the house last night about 8:30. She ran out in the road and was hit by a car. The person was so nice to speed up and take off without stopping! I thought she was dying. She was unconscious, incontinent, and bleeding from her mouth and nose. She awakened after a minute or so. Still living in nowhere land, there is no afterhours emergency vet. We rushed her to Blountville, TN to the Airport Emergency Veterinarian Clinic. She became more alert, All X-rays were normal. They gave her fluid and pain meds. She ended up just bruised and sore, maybe a concussion. Today she is mostly back to normal. She is a lucky girl! Anyway, we got out of the clinic at 1230am. We decided we were exhausted. Patrick was at his gparents. So, we got a room at the Holiday Inn. They didnt allow pets, so I smuggled Fudge in inside a backpack! Had anniversary breakfast in bed this morning! Now back to packing and moving this weekend! So thankful Fudge is OK!
