Happy happy Monday!!!! What an amazing week we had celebrating life! Family and friends arrived Friday. We kicked off Saturday with a beautiful baptism of my beautiful goddaughter/niece Elise. I am honored to be her godparent with my super cool brother in law, Scott. We make a good team. Poor girl. I cant wait till she gets older. He and I are going to have such fun. After being dressed up in stuffy church clothes we all changed and got ready for MEMs big Blues Clues pajama party. We had a lovely time just hanging out and trying to stay warm. Everyone was served an amazing breakfast provided by The Cinnamon Roll House. Locals...if you havent been...go...NOW! It was a perfect day of pure joy for all of us. Grateful for yet another year of life that God has granted my beautiful baby...I mean toddler. Everyone gave us much need gifts like new bottles, diapers, wipes, pediasure, pjs, movies and sensory toys. This year I wasnt too sad about presents. She got things she needs and loves and thats what matters. Not the fact that she cant get normal 2 year old stuff. Its all about perspective. Sometimes its hard to find but this weekend it was clear as day. Just happiness. I would rather have 30 minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special. Special can be a great thing...trust me. I want to send out a million hugs and much love to all my family and precious friends who make this journey such a happy one. We are all blessed. Hope you all are too!
